University of Basra organizes a workshop on errors in writing theses and dissertations
The General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts, organized a workshop entitled "Common Errors in Theses and Dissertations".
The workshop, which was attended by Dr. Zamir Lifta and Dr. Ghosoun Aziz Nasser, aimed to overcome the mistakes that graduate students make that affect the quality of their theses and their scientific and academic evaluation.
The workshop addressed common errors in writing the elements of scientific theses and dissertations, including errors in the title of the thesis, the introduction, the formulation of objectives, research hypotheses, scientific terminology, scientific method, style, linguistic errors related to sentence structures, semantics and correction, as well as errors related to the ethics of the scientific researcher.
