For sustainable development, to eradicate poverty and hunger University of Basra opens a charity market.
The Secretary General of the Central Library, Dr. Iman Shamkhi Jaber, inaugurated a charity market entitled (Shahada and Sovereignty), in cooperation with the University Follow-up Department, Nakhwa Iraq team for development and development, and the Women's Affairs Department.
"The opening of this market comes in implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Program to eradicate poverty and hunger, by allocating the proceeds to support poor and needy families, as well as orphaned children," Iman said. The market witnessed a wide turnout from various segments of the academic community, and the participation of many owners of small projects, exhibits, handicrafts, folk food, luxury goods, and a book exhibition.
