University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Computational Informatics in Immunology
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled "Computational Informatics in Immunology".
The seminar aimed to study complex protein-protein interactions and immune signaling networks to better understand immune responses and their role during normal, pathological and reconstructive conditions.
The seminar included a lecture given by Dr. Abdul-Ilah Abdul-Hussein Saheen, a study of immunology, indicating that a broad field includes developing vaccines and stimulating immunity through computing, using complex algorithms that combine immunology, computers, mathematics and chemistry to analyze the functions of the immune system.
