University of Basrah Organizes a Discussion Session on the University Professor
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a discussion session on the qualities of a university professor.
The discussion session aimed at the necessity of keeping pace with the development taking place in the world by the university professor, in all aspects, in order to create an aware, scientifically educated generation, with sufficient information and appropriate experience to manage practical life.
The discussion session included a lecture given by Dr. Mohsen Sagheer Ghaleb, in which he explained several axes, including: the philosophy of university education, who is the university professor and his qualities, what are the academic qualifications of the university professor, the skills that must be mastered and developed, formulating questions and asking them correctly, listening skills, communication skills with students and the university community, relationship building skills, and realizing the differences of students.
