University of Basra organizes competition to study Sharia in law
The Faculty of Law at the University of Basra organized a scientific competition between its students and the students of Shatt al-Arab University.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Aqeel Fadel Al-Dahan, said that the competition included a debate between students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Basra and students of the Faculty of Law at Shatt Al-Arab University in a curriculum subject taught at the two universities, which is (the introduction to the study of Sharia).
He added that the aim of holding these scientific competitions is to create a scientific atmosphere that helps students to memorize the study materials before taking exams, as well as building bridges of cooperation between the students of the two universities.
