University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on the Phenomenon of Divorce and Its Effects on Society
The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized an awareness symposium on the phenomenon of divorce and its negative effects on the cohesion of the structure of society.
The symposium aimed to shed light on the challenges resulting from divorce and its effects on families and society.
The symposium, which presented by a group of female lecturers, addressed various aspects of the phenomenon in terms of material and moral causes and marital compatibility, in addition to addressing the topic of divorce in Islam as a solution to resolve disputes between spouses and the resulting damages such as the disintegration of families and the emergence of hostilities and the call to develop marital culture and enhance mutual respect and patience between spouses.
