As part of sustainability in economic development. University of Basra organizes a workshop to collaborate with the World Food Program.
The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a workshop with the World Food Program (WFP) to present projects that can be funded by the program for sustainability in economic development.
The workshop aimed to present some important viable projects to be funded by the World Food Program to support the national agricultural product.
The workshop, which was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, the Director of the Advisory Office, Dr. Mohsen Abdulhay Dasher and heads of scientific departments, included presenting a set of projects to the representatives of the program that take into account climate change and food security, which can be of an extension and training nature to create job opportunities for graduates, and unique project types that contribute to raising the awareness and capabilities of farmers, as well as contribute to providing food security and increasing imports of local production.
