For sustainable development in raising awareness for environmental conservation, the University of Basra visits La'laa University School
Researchers from the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a visit to Pearl University Mixed Primary School in the Al-Jami'a neighborhood in Basra.
The visit included a display of some preserved aquatic life models on scientific posters to educate about the importance of preserving the aquatic biodiversity of living organisms. This was accompanied by awareness lectures aimed at encouraging students to adopt positive behaviors towards the environment at home, school, or in the street, such as reducing littering and working on establishing environmentally friendly industrial projects, like plastic waste recycling projects, to ensure sustainable environmental development and pollution reduction.
