University of Basra organizes a seminar on fake media
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar on fake media and its impact on society.
The seminar aimed to introduce the role of the media and investigate the fake ones that are spread on social media.
The seminar, which was lectured by Mr. Ahmed Abdul Jabbar Al-Muturi from the Nabed Humanitarian Team, highlighted the fake media and the cases that a person may be exposed to from fraud or electronic blackmail and how to find deterrent solutions and use the official authorities to deal with such cases.
