A Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines Varieties of Fava Beans Within the Framework of Sustainable Development in the Food Program
A master's thesis at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah examined the response of three varieties of fava beans to spraying with nano and mineral potassium fertilizer.
The thesis of researcher Ayat Hussein Ali aims to identify the best fava beans varieties that give the best yield in quantity and quality with the best concentration of potassium fertilizers in the conditions of Basra Governorate.
The study included the response of three varieties of fava beans to spraying with nano and mineral potassium fertilizer.
The results showed the superiority of the Spanish and Italian varieties and the level of spraying with nano potassium fertilizer 2 g/L-1 in the growth characteristics, yield and qualitative characteristics of fava beans.
