University of Basrah Participates in the Agricultural Guidance Directorate Symposium for Sustainable Development in Preserving the Environment and Increasing Natural Resources
The lecturer at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basrah, Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Hashem, participated in the scientific symposium ((Project of planting green roofs and walls, home gardens and public institutions)) organized by the Agricultural Guidance Training Center in Basra.
The researcher's participation included giving a lecture that focused on the importance of afforestation, reducing the effects of climate change, raising environmental awareness, achieving sustainable development goals, reducing the phenomenon of global warming, and the importance of moving forward with planting rooftops and public facilities based on aquatic or aerial agricultural systems, as it represents an innovative environmental activity contributed by members of society.
