As part of a series of scientific activities and the development of cognitive abilities, University of Basra organized the Young Researcher Festival.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Basra organized the "Young Researcher Festival" for the third year in a row, under the slogan "By experience we learn".
The aim of these activities is to educate school students about the importance of the college and to communicate with the community at large.
The person in charge of organizing the festival, teacher Roaa Salman Bayoun, explained that the festival included receiving students from Alexandria Ahliya Private High School to learn about several scientific experiments prepared by the third and fourth stage students at the College of Pharmacy, in order to enrich the theoretical aspect of the educational process and enhance scientific concepts in the minds of the students. The experiments conducted for the school students were about 35 experiments, which varied between chemistry, physics, and biology. The students were divided into groups and distributed in the college's laboratories to view the scientific experiments prepared for them.
