University of Basrah Receives the Head of Basra Investment Commission
The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basrah, Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, received in his office the head of Basra Investment Commission, Alaa Abdul-Hussein Salman, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two sides.
The two sides discussed the importance of government institutions supporting scientific and academic conferences, stressing that this cooperation represents a shared responsibility that contributes to enhancing Basra's scientific and academic status at the local and international levels.
For his part, the head of Basra Investment Commission expressed his readiness to provide support to the college, which will include maintenance of external playgrounds and roofing, maintenance of a number of sports and classroom halls, in addition to maintaining the college campus and its gardens.
