University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Quranic Symposium at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain
The College of Administration and Economics in Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a scientific Quranic symposium in cooperation with the Holy Quran House at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, within the framework of enhancing religious and intellectual awareness among students and faculty members.
The symposium aimed to shed light on the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran, and the impact of Quranic teachings in building a balanced personality and developing moral values in society. It also sought to strengthen the relationship between academic knowledge and Quranic teachings, and highlight the role of the Quran in formulating the principles of management and economics according to an Islamic vision.
The symposium included a group of scientific lectures delivered by a group of researchers and specialists in Quranic studies, which addressed multiple topics, including the linguistic and scientific miracles in the Quran, and the impact of Islamic values in building successful economic institutions. The symposium also witnessed fragrant Quranic recitations, and open discussions with the attendees on how to employ Quranic principles in the fields of management and economics.
