University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Basra Marshes
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific visit to the Basra Marshes for the college students accompanied by a group of professors.
The visit included introducing the environmental diversity in the marshes in terms of animals and plants and the importance of this diversity in terms of the continuation of these species.
And explaining the importance of raising buffaloes from an economic point of view and the necessity of caring for these animals in terms of providing concentrated feed and green spaces and caring for the health and veterinary aspect in order to increase the productivity of these animals in terms of milk production because they are characterized by high nutritional value in terms of protein and fat percentage.
