University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Studying the Chemical and Physical Properties of Foods
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a workshop for graduate and undergraduate students on how to express concentrations in solutions and study the chemical and physical properties of foods.
The workshop aims to explain how to estimate, measure and calculate protein, potential of hydrogen (pH), acidity and calculate the concentrations of solid and liquid solutions for students.
The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Lina Samir Muhammad and Dr. Sherine Fadhel Abbas, included the correct scientific methods for estimating protein and pH and calculating concentrations in solutions as a basic step in guiding and teaching graduate and undergraduate students the general foundations for conducting laboratory tests and measurements.
