University of Basra organizes an awareness seminar on drugs: A threat to our present and future
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a scientific awareness seminar on drugs: A Threat to Our Present and Future
The seminar, which was presented by a group of specialists, included Dr. Mohammed Najah Al-Jazairy, who reviewed the security strategy in combating drugs, Dr. Nada Mahdi Khalaf, who focused on the legal aspects of combating drugs, and Mohammed Imad Al-Rubaie, who addressed the impact of electronic drugs.
The seminar was attended by a number of teachers, students and interested parties, where they discussed ways to raise awareness and reduce the spread of drugs, as well as exchanging views on the role of academic institutions in confronting this issue.
The seminar recommended the importance of enhancing community awareness of the danger of drugs and the need for concerted efforts to combat them.
