University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness Seminar on the Former Regime's Crimes
The Cultural Center, in cooperation with the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, organized an awareness seminar on the impact of the psychological and social crimes of the former regime against the Iraqi people.
The seminar aimed to educate and inform the new generation of students about the inhumane practices of the former Baathist regime.
The seminar included the screening of documentaries about the tyrant's rule from 1979 to 2003, which included his most prominent crimes against humanity, such as the crimes of Dujail, Anfal, Halabja, draining the marshes, displacing defenseless civilians, and assassinating scholars, opinion leaders, intellectuals, and clerics.
