University of Basra organizes a workshop on stabilization and imaging of parasites
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a workshop on fixing and photographing parasites after diagnosing them by traditional and modern methods.
The workshop aimed to highlight the types of parasites and methods of diagnosing and visualizing them microscopically and macroscopically.
The workshop, which was attended by a number of parasitology faculty members, included a presentation of the latest research and studies followed in parasite diagnosis and examination methods, traditional detection of human or animal infection, and modern molecular detection. Practical applications were also conducted in the examination, diagnosis, laboratory and macroscopic imaging of different types of parasites.
