The Center for Basra and Arabic Gulf Studies at the University of Basra organized a scientific seminar on the security repercussions in the region and their impact on Iraq.
The seminar included several research papers that dealt with political analysis of the nature of the conflict between the forces of the Ummah and the Zionist entity, the political change in Syria, the impact of this on the reality and future of Iraq, and the need for Iraq's security and political action to confront any aggression against its sovereignty or an attempt to compromise its national security, based on the importance of constitutional and political reforms and the serious endeavor to achieve social justice. Constitutional and political reforms, the serious pursuit of social justice and the alignment of the internal ranks of Iraqi political forces to counter any external plans, while emphasizing the importance of building bridges with great countries such as China and Russia and linking with them with fair economic partnerships, which requires them to intervene to protect their interests from potential threats to Iraq.
