For environmental sustainability .... University of Basra organizes a scientific visit to the Basra Shatt Nazim
Within the framework of promoting the concepts of sustainable development of the environment, the Faculty of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific visit to the Basra Shatt Regulator.
The visit aims to familiarize with the mechanism of the regulator's work, and recognize the environmental reality in the Shatt al-Basra and marine waters.
The visit also included the mangrove nursery, where students learned about the important environmental role of these plants in protecting coasts and promoting biodiversity.
This visit comes as part of the scientific field activities that contribute to the development of students' applied skills and provide them with practical knowledge about environmental challenges and management of marine resources in the region.
