University of Basrah Launches a Campaign to Light its Internal Streets
The Diwan Affairs Department at the University of Basrah Presidency launched a campaign to light the university streets at the sites of Garmat Ali and Bab Al-Zubair colleges.
The Director of the Diwan Affairs Department at the University of Basrah, Engineer Mahmoud Jaafar Jassim, stated that the campaign came under the direction of the President of the University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, to add an environment that suits the comfort of students during the holy month of Ramadan and the sports and cultural activities that it includes after Iftar (the fast-breaking meal). The campaign included maintenance work and connecting lighting to all internal streets at the sites of Karmat Ali and Bab Al-Zubair colleges.
Adding that the Diwan Affairs Department was able, through its own efforts, to maintain the ambulance of the Basra Health Department to provide its services to students of internal departments.
