A master's thesis at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Basra examined the geographical analysis of women's mortality in Basra Governorate for the period 2012-2022, a demographic study.
The thesis, submitted by student Sara Ali Abdul, aims to identify the geographical analysis of the reality of women's mortality in Basra Governorate for the period from 2012 to 2022 in terms of identifying the number of women's deaths and their temporal and spatial pattern, revealing the most important causes of mortality phenomenon of diseases and other causes according to the administrative units of the governorate, as well as the reality of the health and social services provided to women in Basra Governorate.
The thesis included four chapters that discussed the characteristics of the population and their geographical disparities, the geographical distribution of women's deaths, the pattern of women's deaths according to some recorded causes, and the geographical distribution of health and social care services provided to women in Basra governorate.
