The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a workshop on modern techniques in drug detection and estimation.
The workshop aims to demonstrate the most important modern techniques in the detection of drugs in the human body and plant sources.
The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Diaa Faleh Abdullah, included explaining the methods of diagnosis and estimation of drugs from different plant sources and the use of modern devices in the detection of many drugs, focusing on the LCMSMS device and sampling from the human body, where the focus was on the hair drug test, which is a test that gives a result for up to three months of drug use and is considered one of the most successful methods in determining the quality and quantity of drugs.
