The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on "Yes to life, not the illusion of happiness in the hell of drugs".
The seminar aims to educate students about the harms and dangers of drugs and spread health awareness.
The seminar, which was delivered by Dr. Rafif Abdul Hafiz Mohammed Taqi, included the definition of the meaning of drugs, their types, their harmful effects on the individual and society, the symptoms that appear on addicts and the general deterioration in their health and behavior, the reasons that lead to addiction from family issues, blind imitation of bad friends or parental abuse, and how to prevent addiction and stay away from addicts.
