University of Basra hosts the training course of the Bodybuilding Federation in Basra
The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra hosted the two-day qualification training course organized by the National Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness - Basra Branch, with the participation of more than 80 male and female trainers.
The course included four lectures delivered by specialized professors from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, which included the topics of sports training, sports injuries, sports psychology and sports nutrition, with the aim of raising the efficiency of trainers and updating their knowledge in line with the latest scientific and training developments in the field of bodybuilding and fitness.
The course coordinator, Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim, said that the course was an important opportunity to enhance the training experiences of trainers by combining theoretical and practical aspects, pointing out that such courses contribute to developing the level of sports training locally and supporting cadres working in this field.
For his part, Captain Abbas Ahmed, President of the Bodybuilding Sub-Federation in Basra, referred to the training course and its importance in developing the level of male and female trainers, and that cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences represents an important step towards adopting the latest scientific methods in training, which reflects positively on the level of bodybuilding sport in the province.
