University of Basra organizes a seminar on the crimes of the Baath Party in violating human rights
The General Secretariat of the Central Library organized an educational seminar on the crimes of the deposed Baath Party and the violation of human rights.
The seminar, which was attended by the head of the World Corner Unit, Dr. Maha Jawad Nassar, showed documentary films documenting the crimes of the Baath Party since its assumption of power between 1968 and 2003 and its flagrant violations of human rights, such as its genocide in (Halabja and Anfal) using internationally prohibited weapons and its suppression of the popular uprisings in 1980, 1991 and 1999 and the assassination and displacement of Iraqi minds by the Saddamist Baath regime.
