For sustainable development in ending child trafficking and eliminating physical violence against girls. University of Basra organizes a seminar on how to reduce human trafficking.
The General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, organized an educational seminar to explain the steps of the United Nations program to combat the phenomenon of child trafficking and violence against girls and women and the role of security and legal institutions in Iraq to curb these inhumane phenomena.
The seminar explained the fraudulent methods used by human traffickers in luring and exploiting children and girls to force them into forced labor, prostitution or even selling their organs for money, with the seminar reviewing international statistics and data from reputable research centers documenting the extent of the spread of these crimes in developing countries.
