For sustainable development in maximizing natural resources A master's thesis at the University of Basra on the impact of oil revenues
A master's thesis at the University of Basra's Faculty of Management and Economics examined the reflection of oil revenues on sustainable development indicators in Iraq for the period 2007-2022.
The thesis, submitted by the student, Muntaha Qasim Faleh Al-Mansouri, aims to analyze the indicators of sustainable development and the oil sector in Iraq and study the volume of oil revenues resulting from exports, as well as analyzing the reflection of oil revenues on the indicators of sustainable development in Iraq during the study period.
The thesis recommended achieving sustainable development in Iraq through the establishment of a national sovereign fund that allocates investment and part of the oil revenues in various assets inside and outside Iraq, to ensure financial sustainability for future generations, and strict controls must be placed on the use of the funds of this fund.
