The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on managing diets between prevention and treatment.
The seminar aimed to introduce the correct methods of managing daily diets and how to prevent the negative effects of bad eating habits.
The seminar, which was attended by Dr. Nawfal Abdul Amir Hussein, Dr. Nawal Khalid Zabin, and Dr. Anfal Alwan Abdul Nabi, included the importance of the compatibility of human dietary habits, the balance of body hormones, the human biological clock, and how wrong dietary habits contribute to the fluctuation of hormone secretion and the development of modern diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and others.
The seminar addressed the importance of intermittent fasting and Ramadan fasting in correcting and adjusting the balance of the body's hormones and their role in improving human health.
