The University of Basra's Marine Science Center organized a training course on how to preserve aquatic plants.
The course aimed to highlight the characteristics and importance of aquatic plants in the development and sustainability of the underwater health system.
The course dealt with the definition of aquatic plants, their characteristics, methods of collecting and classifying them into groups and how to preserve them in the herbarium to use them as a reference for study.
