The Center for Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies organized a scientific seminar on the homeland and identity in Gulf literature from concept to artistic representations.
The seminar dealt with the homeland and its representations in the Kuwaiti novel - Al-Subayliyat and the novel of the rats of my mother Hessa as an example, and the homeland in the slogans of the Tashreeni movement, and the homeland between utopia and reality in the novel (Tawq al-Hammam) by the Saudi writer Raja Alam, and the homeland analogies in the novel (The Trial) by the writer Laila Al-Othman.
