University of Basra organizes a seminar on the dangers of drugs
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Basra, in coordination with the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Basra, organized a scientific seminar on the dangers of drugs and their impact on the individual and society.
The seminar aims to introduce members of society to awareness, knowledge and immunization from extraneous cultures to confront the scourge of drugs as it is the most common, as well as intensify efforts to develop an integrated strategy to reduce this phenomenon.
The seminar included the presentation of several research papers during which the researchers explained the definition of drugs and their types and how to avoid them and not fall into legal issues and negligence in dealing, possessing or using them, in addition to a detailed explanation of addiction and its types and the concept of combating drugs.
