As part of sustainable development in environmental protection, University of Basra organizes National Afforestation Day
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra organized the National Afforestation Day activities.
The event aims to spread environmental awareness and encourage students and faculty members to pay attention to sustainability and environmental protection. It is an environmental project that aims to plant plants or trees on the university campus to enhance the aesthetic and natural environment of the place.
The event included inviting students to participate in planting and caring for plants as part of a voluntary activity that promotes the spirit of teamwork and concern for the environment and also focuses on beautifying green spaces within the campus and rehabilitating damaged or unutilized spaces, making the environment more attractive and healthy.
