A Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Diagnosis of a Type of Parasite
A master's thesis at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah examined the diagnosis of the parasite lsospora spp using different detection methods.
The study conducted by the student Intidhar Kanni Jassim aimed to isolate and diagnose the parasite and study its shape and internal structures.
The study concluded that there are two types of parasites that infect cats and one type that infects dogs, and the type that infects cats was previously diagnosed in pigs, and this result was recorded for the first time in Basra Governorate.
