University of Basrah Celebrates International Women's Day
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of International Women's Day.
The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbas, said during his speech at the festival, "These events held by the university aim to honor the role of women in Iraqi society and focus on the challenges facing Iraqi women in various areas of life."
Adding that family cohesion within the family is due to the importance of the role of women and their psychological and social stability and its impact on parents and children, as family warmth is a strong and important bond in building a single society to build a happy family.
