The Department of Divan Affairs at the University of Basra continued its tireless work in planting trees and improving the landscape inside the campus.
"This new campaign came under the direct guidance of the university president, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, where the planting of a group of trees in various vital locations of the university was carried out," said Mahmoud Jafar, director of the Department of Diwan Affairs, Engineer Mahmoud Jafar.
Mahmoud emphasized : These efforts come as part of the national afforestation campaign to enhance vegetation cover and provide a more comfortable and attractive academic environment for students and teachers alike.
For his part, the site official praised the efforts of the agricultural staff who exerted great efforts in implementing the afforestation process, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this campaign.
It is noteworthy that Basra University seeks through these projects to provide an integrated educational environment where knowledge is blended with natural beauty, which reflects positively on the comfort of students and professors and contributes to creating an ideal academic atmosphere.
