University of Basra master's thesis examines iron status in psoriasis patients
A master's thesis at the University of Basra's Faculty of Medicine investigated the assessment of iron status in psoriasis patients.
The thesis, submitted by student Rabab Rayhan Nayef, aims to study the iron status of psoriasis patients compared to normal people by measuring both standard and new biomarkers.
The thesis included three chapters that discussed the evaluation of hematological parameters such as hemoglobin level, mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH).
