Headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, a Medical Team Successfully Performs a Rare Operation
A medical team headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, succeeded in performing a rare surgical operation at Al-Faihaa Specialized Hospital for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, stated that the operation was performed on a patient aged 55 to remove an adrenal gland tumor from a patient suffering from a large tumor connected to the left kidney and its main artery.
Adding that the operation was successful and during it the left adrenal gland was removed with the tumor and the left kidney.
