University of Basrah Organizes a Field Visit to Harir Marsh Research Station
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a field visit to Harir Marsh Research Station with the participation of final-stage students.
The visit aimed to learn about the life of the marshes and the animal and plant environment in the station.
The visit included observing the feeding methods of incoming or settled animals in Harir Station, such as birds, fish, and others whose presence is linked to water bodies, as well as explaining the biological cycle that maintains the balance of beneficial elements for plants due to types of bacteria and the non-accumulation of some chemicals that are toxic to aquatic organisms.
