A Medical Team Headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine Succeeds in Performing a Rare Operation for the Fourth Week in a Row

A medical team headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, succeeded in performing a rare surgical operation at Al-Faihaa Specialized Hospital for Diabetes and Endocrinology.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, stated that the operation was performed on a patient aged (23) years to remove an adrenal gland tumor from a patient suffering from a large tumor connected to the right kidney and its main artery.

Adding that the operation was crowned with success and during it the right adrenal gland was removed with the tumor.
