University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on the Impact of Sustainable Engineering on the Environment
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Engineering, organized a symposium on sustainable engineering and its impact on the environment.
The symposium aims to introduce the relationship between sustainable engineering and the environment, and ways to achieve sustainability in the use of natural resources, in addition to reducing negative impacts on the environment by studying climate variables, natural resources, and environmental pollutants.
The symposium included the presentation of several research papers in which researchers explained the increasing environmental and economic challenges and the importance of sustainable engineering as a necessary approach to achieving a balance between technical development and the protection of natural resources.
