University of Basrah Holds a Symposium Entitled "Scientific and Intellectual Dimensions in Basra Heritage"
The College of Education in Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah held a symposium entitled "Scientific and Intellectual Dimensions in Basra Heritage" in cooperation with the Heritage Center affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a number of students and lecturers.
The symposium aimed to enhance the intellectual, cultural and heritage identity of the generous city of Basra.
The symposium, delivered by the Director of the Heritage Center, the Sheikh Mudrik Al-Hassoun, included praising the esteemed Deanship of the College, thanking the roles and efforts of the honorable researchers who contributed to the success of this symposium, and confirming the depth of cooperation and the impact of fruitful cross-fertilization between the center and the rest of the scientific and academic institutions that enhance the role of thought and Basra heritage and transfer it from the world of written books to the lecture forum that adds a flavor to it in confrontation, commentary, analysis and attendance.
