University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Public Health and Food Safety
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Health Control Unit, Restaurants and Cafeterias, organized a workshop on public health and food safety.
The seminar aims to introduce the importance of healthy food, proper nutrition methods, and ways to avoid the risks of food and cafeteria contamination.
The seminar included the presentation of several research papers during which researchers discussed the importance of healthy food in promoting public health and preventing diseases. Emphasizing the need to follow a balanced diet that includes all nutritional elements such as proteins, healthy carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals.
