University of Basrah Completes the First Phase of Installing Street Lighting
The Office Affairs Department at the University of Basrah has completed the first phase of installing street lighting at the Garmat Ali site, as part of the university's efforts to improve the educational environment and provide a more comfortable and safe atmosphere for students.
Engineer Mahmoud Jaafar Jassim stated that the technical staff has made great efforts over the past few days and continued working until late at night to ensure the completion of connecting and operating all required lights according to the specified technical specifications.
He added that the work aims to enhance the aesthetics of the site and increase the level of night lighting, which contributes to improving the students' experience and creating a more attractive environment for them, whether during movement between facilities or during evening events.
He stressed that work is ongoing to complete the remaining stages, while adhering to the best quality standards to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of lighting.
