The Natural History Museum at the University of Basra received a delegation from the Erbil Gemstone Museum to discuss cooperation between museum institutions.
Museum Director Dr. Shatha Mohammed and Faculty of Education for Human Sciences instructor Mohammed Qahtan Al-Ghalibi received the representative of Erbil Gemstone Museum Mr. Sarbast Majid Omar, a gift that included two rare stones, Citrin and Amethyst. The specifications of the received stones, which will be added to the museum's exhibits to enhance scientific and educational content, were documented.
This initiative is part of a series of efforts aimed at strengthening scientific relations between Iraqi museums and promoting the exchange of expertise in the field of gemstones and natural history.
