University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Public Health and Food Safety
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on public health and food safety, attended by specialists in this field.
The workshop aimed to preserve the public health of faculty and students and raise awareness of the dangers of consuming certain foods and overeating, which pose a serious threat to human health and safety.
The workshop, presented by instructors from the Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering, included a detailed explanation of the appropriate timing for healthy eating to achieve a balance between plant-based foods and acidic foods, such as meat, and other foods that can contribute to diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
