University of Basra organizes an awareness workshop on the dangers of plastics
The College of Management and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra, organized an awareness workshop on the dangers of plastics and their impact on human health and the environment.
The workshop, which was attended by Dr. Nadhad Hilal Jouda and Dr. Areej Khudair Abbas, explained the dangers of plastics on human health and the environment, represented by chemical pollution and plastic materials.
The workshop recommended the need to adhere to special instructions to minimize plastic risks, namely the use of cloth bags, the use of reusable water bottles, as well as the recycling of plastic materials to reduce waste.
