University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Teaching and Learning Theories in Engineering
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture as part of the fourth teaching methods course for the engineering specialization. The lecture addressed teaching and learning theories in engineering academic institutions.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Ali Latif Tarish, a lecturer at the Technical College of Engineering at the Southern Technical University, included a review of the importance of teaching and learning in building knowledge and developing society. It also addressed the concepts of teaching and learning, the differences between them, the design of blended learning, learning theories, and accreditation standards. He emphasized the role of modern methods in enhancing the quality of education and achieving academic and societal development.
