A Lecturer at the University of Basrah publishes a Book on Energy Investment
Two lecturers at the College of Law at the University of Basrah, Batoul Majeed Jassim and Nabaa Ibrahim Al-Doudan, have published a book titled "Legal Studies in the Investment Field: Housing and Renewable Energy as a Model."
The book, which includes three chapters spread over 152 pages, discusses the National Investment Commission (NIC), a state agency specializing in investment. This commission has a dual nature, as it is an administrative body linked to the central government on the one hand, and a decentralized institution with a service-oriented nature on the other. It is naturally subject to the financial and administrative oversight of the central government.
